Promoting awareness campaign for overcoming societal, stigmatization and marginalization of persons with special needs particularly persons with intellectual and developmental disability.
Encouraging parents/caregivers and the society on the need for fateful caring and training of persons with special needs (intellectual development disability).
Advocacy for government policies directly beneficial to parents of children/persons with intellectual developmental disability.
Advocacy for policy beneficial for the independent survival of persons with disability at maturity of age.
A driving force for the achievements of policies set for the benefits of persons with special needs through constant re-echoing for continuity without neglect.
Collaborating with other similar NGOs at driving policies beneficial to persons with special needs with regular stake holder meetings for policy formulation/advocacy
Collaborating with Government Agencies/Organizations on issues with disability affairs for human advancement in the society at large.
Encouraging both orthodox and local researches for curing/managing issues with intellectual development disorder.
Victoria Intellectual Disability Foundation (VIDFoundation)
is a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) oriented to render humanitarian services towards enhancing the lives of children/persons with special needs in the Nigeria communities and the world at large.
We work closely with all communities irrespective of their political, religious, ethnic views.
