Victoria Intellectual Disability Foundation (VIDFoundation) is a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) oriented to render humanitarian services towards enhancing the lives of children/persons with special needs in the Nigeria communities and the world at large.

Established 16th of September 2017 in Lagos State as a non profit, VIDFoundation is poised to taking a holistic and general approach on disability affairs, as well with keen attention to issues with intellectual and development disorder being a great challenge to human race with its very worrisome nature.

The organizations shall operate as a non-religious, non-political, non-partisan, non-factional, non-tribal and non-racial; but frankly on humanitarian ground with necessary collaborations with other similar NGOs, Government Agencies or organization in the interest of humanity and the society wellness.

To be an exceptional force in Humanitarian service delivering with effective enlightenment and advocacy on issues with special needs in an oriented society for a positive attitude towards persons with disability, enabling equal opportunities with other citizenry and overcome societal social stigmatization for a happy, hopefully, fulfilling and healthy living.

Our Mission

Bridging the gaps in awareness and sensitization, creating effective enlightenment of the society on issues with special needs for social, economic and otherwise acceptance of persons with disability, devoid of stigmatization and marginalization.

Provides and encourage effective centres with a drive for early intervention for ease of rehabilitation to discover the ability in their disability for a way forward, train persons with disability to attain their full potentials for the enhancement of their living standard and happily enjoy the rights of belonging.
